The package of abilities nicely ties together, and I particularly like the design of Spinning Piledriver saying noncreature, nonland permanent. Im not at all a fan of cards like Grave Pact, since I think they lead to battlefields where people are locked out of playing their commander, so Im glad that Zangief sidesteps that and instead forces a sacrifice of an artifact, enchantment, or planeswalker

While it is fairly pricey on both halves, the flexibility on Flash Photography more than makes up for it

Mix that with cards like Crossway Troublemakers or Markov Enforcer and you can easily see how this can become really good really fast

While there have still been issues with how some cards interact with older MTG rules, such as Tibalt from Kaldheim and the cascade mechanic, these have been based more on rules rather than cards themselves
